Scott Kane

Scott Kane’s career as a hair stylist started in 1988. He has always had eye for detail and an interest in art, music, design, history, psychology, teaching and helping others. Little did he know that following the advice of his mother, which was to learn a trade to support his vast interests, would take him into the all encompassing beauty industry. Growing up as a New Yorker in a mecca of multicultural diversity, Scott began his training and career in New York City before moving to Los Angles.

Scott now resides in the place he calls home, the Pacific Northwest. During his career, he has trained and worked with some of the best in the industry as well as local and international directors, producers, casting agents and talent and modeling agencies. His work, recognition and influence have been seen on television, MTV, feature movies, fashion runways and local and national press and publications for fashion and trade. Scott has also traveled the country as an artistic director for internationally known companies educating thousands of stylists by headlining major hair shows, new product launches and advanced education seminars

In conjunction to providing companies his expertise on and off location, he takes great pride in owning and working behind the chair as a stylist at Propaganda. Scott finds great satisfaction being able to work on some of the most talented and inspiring people in their field: his clients to whom he is very grateful to be given the chance to share his talent and vision in making them look and feel better.
